New Mexico Film Tax Rebate:

The majority of Skeptic will be filmed in New Mexico, one of the most production-friendly states in the U.S. Known for its robust film infrastructure, seasoned crews, and breathtaking landscapes, New Mexico offers a refundable tax credit of up to 35% on qualified production expenses.

• Base Rebate: 25% refundable tax credit on most eligible in-state expenditures (including resident labor, goods, and services).
   
• Uplifts: An additional 5–10% is available for television series, productions using qualified facilities, and for shooting beyond the Albuquerque/Santa Fe corridor, bringing the total potential rebate up to 35%.
   
• No Annual Cap for Television: Unlike some states, New Mexico provides security for long-form series by exempting them from the annual cap, ensuring productions receive their full credit.
   
• Infrastructure & Workforce: Decades of film production (including Breaking Bad, Oppenheimer, Stranger Things) have built a deep pool of crew talent and state-of-the-art stages, making it a natural hub for The Mirror Men.
   

Nevada Film Incentives:

Select scenes will be shot in Nevada, which also offers competitive incentives, particularly for productions making use of Las Vegas, Reno, and rural locations.

• Transferable Tax Credit: Up to 25% transferable tax credit on qualified in-state expenditures, including resident and non-resident crew, goods, and services.
   
• Bonus Percentages: Additional credits may apply for employing Nevada residents or shooting in underutilized counties.
   
• Transferability Advantage: Credits can be sold or transferred, providing productions with immediate financial benefit.
